To install, unroll the GCL over the prepared pond area, ensuring that it covers and overlaps the entire surface, and extends around the perimeter. Secure the edges and seams, put at least 1ft of soil over the liner, bottoms, sides and perimeter. Ensure all the soil is fully compacted, and finally fill pond with water. The self-sealing properties of the bentonite clay within the liner provide an effective barrier, preventing water leakage and ensuring a durable and reliable pond.
PLEASE NOTE!
When installing GCL, the overlapping clay must be sealed, and the pond must be backfilled with at least 1ft of soil on the bottom, sides and the perimeter of the pond, and subsequently compacted to securely cover all the GCL.
